Health Yourself Tip # 2

TRUST

Tip # 2 is Trust.

You can trust your body to heal itself. When you cut your finger, red blood cells immediately begin creating collagen, tough fibers that grow “granulation tissue,” a foundation for new skin to build over the wound.

This happens. Without our involvement. We can trust the process.

Fear is sometimes explained as an acronym: F.E.A.R. means “false expectations appearing real.” As of this writing, the world is floundering in fear of the coronavirus. The fear (expectation) is that this could become a global pandemic like the Spanish Flu and wipe out millions of us.

Fear weakens the immune system, making us more susceptible to infection. Concern is different than fear. Concern supports responsibility. We can strengthen our immune system by washing our hands, getting enough sleep, eating healthy, exercising, and – this is the big one – handling stress.

We get stressed when we react to circumstances with fear. Then we try to manage the universe. Not going to happen.

We can trust Universal Intelligence. All is well. Let’s be concerned and be responsible to do our part.
